Okay, I can explain.
Or at least, I can throw excuses around.
I haven’t posted since April, and while that may be inexcusable, life has been crazy lately. Here’s the recap.
We sold the house!
And then we had to pack it all up!
I said goodbye to my friends and students at PES..
..and got the chance to meet a few of my new colleagues (for the fall) at LMES!
We loaded our furniture into a storage thing and moved ourselves and the kitties into a little apartment…
..just until we close on and move into this 1960’s cutie in a few weeks!
So, between house packing, classroom packing, repairs, and closings, we’ve been swamped.
For the month of June, I’m in Florence (SC) almost full-time to teach in a summer art program! I hate being away from Forrest, but it’s better that I’m not in Columbia sitting around the apartment. It’s frustrating to be so close to having a new house and to not quite be there yet!
Please accept my apologies for the lack of postings lately. I’ll try to do better. 🙂
