Artsy Fartsy

Waking Up, by Forrest Clonts

Today’s artistic highlight is different from usual (it doesn’t hang in our house) and F may be embarrassed by it.

Forrest took this photo (early morning, Gervais St. bridge), turned it into an acrylic lift, and mounted it on wood. It was created to be sold in a fundraising auction for the S&S Art Supply! I dropped it off at S&S this morning and got a sneak peek at some of the other pieces for the auction. More than 100 artists have contributed work and it looks great! So head over to the S&S on Main tomorrow between 4pm and 8pm and bid on some incredible pieces!

Check out this article in The State and scroll down a bit- Forrest’s name is mentioned! AWESOME!
