yeah, I do my cat’s nails.

The devilishly handsome Fitzgerald Clonts got a mani/pedi yesterday! Well, I held him down and glued kitty caps on his nails. Here’s hoping they stay in position and protect our furniture (and skin) from harm.

I wanted to get some  kitten mittens, but Forrest said no.

Also, Fitz got his first big boy collar- doesn’t he look so grown up? It’s leather and I’m hoping it will hold up for a while. He shreds those nylon cat collars like whoa.

  1. Rudy’s soft paws last anywhere form a few days to a few weeks. I’ve learned that they key is to hold him for at least five minutes after I put them on so the glue can fully dry. We accomplish this with the “Kitty Burrito” method of wrapping him in a towel. He’s mostly resigned to it by now 🙂

    1. Thanks, Robyn! I convinced Fitz to stay in one place for a while with head rubs. He’s a sucker.
Hemingway is the one who really needs nail caps since she’s a little, uh, aggressive. That might be a two-people-on-one-cat adventure!
